Preschool Summer Care

Preschool Summer Care at Redeemer

Join us for Summer 2026! Currently enrolled Redeemer preschool students (ages 12 months – 5 years) continue learning and growing in our safe, loving, Christ-centered environment, with a “summer camp twist”. Summer staff transform the rooms into new spaces and invite the children to join the excitement of the season. Children too young for traditional summer camp will experience individual weeks of summer fun, camp-style!

Serving children ages 12 months to 4 years. Now enrolling for 2026-27.

Day in the Life!

At Redeemer, faith and fun come alive. Each day is filled with joyful learning, new adventures, and moments that help the children discover God’s love in community and creation. We include daily Jesus Time, indoor and outdoor active-play, and thematically focused learning (including books, projects, music and dramatic play). Children also enjoy weekly chapel, water play days, and special “in-house field trips”.

Meet the Team!

Preschool Director – April Mudie-Masters:

I have had the joy of serving children and families in Christian education for more than 20 years, and I consider it a true blessing to serve Redeemer Preschool. Before joining Redeemer, I taught and led in both public school and Christian ministry settings.

My heart is for creating a Christ-centered environment where young children are known, nurtured, and encouraged to love learning from the very beginning. I am passionate about partnering with teachers and families to support the development of the whole child — academically, socially, and spiritually — and to build a warm community.

Questions & Answers

Preschool FAQs & Resources

We would appreciate all students being dropped off no later than 8:30am. If a later arrival is needed on a given day, please communicate with your classroom staff via Brightwheel. Please note: Students may not be dropped off during nap times.

Preschoolers enter with their parents through the main preschool office. Parents walk children to their classrooms and check them in on the Brightwheel iPads.

Preschool parents again enter through the main preschool office for pick-up. Front desk staff can assist in locating groups not currently in their classrooms. Upon pick-up, parents must check the children out on the Brightwheel iPads.  Please note: Until we become familiar with the individuals authorized to pick up each child, be prepared to show your driver’s license. This is to ensure the safety of all.

In your Preschool enrollment packet, you designate all authorized pick-up adults. If an alternate, emergency pick-up is needed and the adult is not listed, please call the Preschool front office and send a Brightwheel message to the classroom staff. This pick-up person will need to show their driver’s license upon arrival and check your child out on the Brightwheel iPad.

The week prior to your child’s first day of summer attendance, you will receive an email detailing the classroom placement, staff, and special activities. Classroom staff will provide additional updates through Brightwheel during the week, and for the upcoming weeks.

For any medications not listed in the enrollment packet, please refer to the Parent Handbook link below, and plan to stop by the Preschool front desk to complete the necessary paperwork.

Your child will need several changes of clothes and shoes, as is the case during the school year. Please label every item, and the bag they come in.

During the summer, we do not have catering onsite. Please send your child with a lunch and water bottle every day. We will provide snacks and special cooking activities.

Please send a message through your Brightwheel app. If the matter is urgent, please also call the Preschool office after sending your Brightwheel message.
